Titre: Whish List allemande
Posté par: Indiana67 le 21 Fév 07 à 22:36
Bonjour,

Le forum allemand DigitalFotoNetz qui compte près de 4000 membres a constitué une "Whish list" qui a été transmise à Pentax en Janvier 2007.
La voici dans sa version anglaise :

1) Wish list with K10D improvements

Flash / flash functions
- Internal flash can act as wireless controller for further external flashes
- Possibility to deactivate stroboscope assist light permanently
- Wider range than -2 to +1 EV for flash exposure correction
- Different program line in automatic mode, i.e. no smaller aperture stop when using higher ISO settings so that camera makes more use of background light

Image formats
- RAW button should have really permanent effect if chosen in the custom
functions, i.e. no turning back after pressing menu or playback button.
- JPEG format with 5 quality levels. Best level with less compression than
now.
- The displayed number of recordable images in the camera is currently the same for PEF and DNG format although PEF files are compressed and
much smaller
- Possibility to save digital preview if wanted
- Copyright information (e.g. owner name) can be put in the camera and will then be written in the exif data
- RAW format optionally with color depth of 16 Bit

Auto focus
- OK button sets central auto focus field in automatic mode (cp. *istDS)    indication of chosen auto focus field in playback mode and in exif data

ISO sensitivity
- ISO 50 and 3200 selectable in the camera
- ISO warning in Auto-ISO setting when overstepping defined warning value
- Currently pressing OK button indicates chosen ISO value in the viewfinder.
- In combination with the front wheel value shall be changeable.
- General possibility to change from indication of remaining images to chosen ISO value in the viewfinder. Number of remaining images can therefore be shown by pressing OK button.
- Use of internal or external flash shall deactivate Auto-ISO setting or maybe camera can use auto focus information to use a higher ISO setting only for greater distances.
- Auto-ISO setting shall notice use of ShakeReduction-System and use longer shutter times before changing ISO value than if this system is not activated.
- Independent ISO setting in M mode. Now change of ISO value in M mode
terminates e.g. a chosen Auto-ISO setting in all other modes.

exposure metering / bracketing
- Images shall be taken in one go without holding the shutter release button for the whole 3 or 5 images (selectable in addition to current setting).
- If bracketing is used combined with 2sec self timer mirror shall not go down after each image to save the 2 sec time
- Exposure correction shall be possible in M mode. This shall be regarded by the camera when using of the green button.
- Interval shooting mode (e.g. like some Optio models)
- Multi-exposure mode shall – if chosen via camera menu – stay activated as long as it is turned off via the camera menu (selectable)
- Bracketing in M mode: it shall be selectable whether the camera changes
aperture, time or a combination of both (the latter is the current configuration). This would be very helpful e.g. when taking panoramic
images. Classical bracketing means a change of time based on a selected
exposure. This is also how *istD does this but it is now different in K10D.
( long explanation for this wish: http://forum.digitalfotonetz.de/viewtopic.php?t=30506,
German )
- When using old lenses (e.g. smc-M) metering via green button in M mode
delivers – especially in wide angle – differing exposures of the same scene
when using different aperture numbers. It's not with all lenses and sometimes pressing green button twice helps.

ShakeReduction:
- Possibility to change focal length for ShakeReduction even with new lenses e.g. when using converters – otherwise ShakeReduction uses wrong focal length (only the submitted uncorrected one)
- Selected focal length for ShakeReduction (when using old lenses) shall be written in Exif data either if ShakeReduction is turned on or off.
- Indication if image was taken with ShakeReduction on or off in playback
mode
- ShakeReduction-System shall be active when using 2sec self timer and
having ShakeReduction switch turned to "on".

Miscellaneous:
- Problem in Bulb mode after 32 sec (camera turns off) under specific
conditions
- Screen content shall rotate with camera rotation
- It shall be possible to set instant playback to unlimited, i.e. until next action
- Battery lifetime is ok but a more reliable battery level indication would be useful
- Possibility to map out stuck pixels in the camera without sending it to the
Pentax service center
- Programmable speed in burst mode, e.g. mode with only 1 or 2 frames per second if needed
- USER mode is nice feature but it would be nice to be able to save more
than just one set of settings
- Possibility to put digital preview on another button to have direct access to both, optical and digital preview function

2) Wishes for future DSLR models
(In addition to current K10D features and wishes listed above)
- Competitive price levels
- Maybe one additional model placed above K10D for users with highest
requirements to their camera system
- Possibility to use older TTL flashes, e.g. AF-500FTZ without restrictions
respectively at ISO 100-400 (cp. *istDS)
- burst mode with 4 or 5 frames per second;
- buffer large enough for at least 17-20 images in RAW format
- AF assist light (not only stroboscope via internal flash)
- ISO button for quick change of ISO setting
- compressed RAW files also in DNG format
- changeable focusing screens: one optional screen that is optimized for
manual focusing
- Old lenses, e.g. K and M lenses shall be usable without any restriction like with old analogue camera bodies. At least consistent exposure metering via green button.
- Use of same LiIon battery – no new type!
- If possible without leaving out or worsening camera features and speed:
battery grip that allows use of NiMH rechargeable batteries
- Faster flash synchronization speed, at least 1/250 sec

3) Wishes for a possible K100D successor
(In addition to current K100D features)
- DustRemoval-System
- Larger internal buffer for at least 8 to 10 RAW files.
- Taking over many features from K10D, e.g. white balance configuration,
RGB histogram
- Possibility to use lenses with ultrasonic motor drives (smc-DA*)
- Same body size – not bigger.
- No worsening in usability of old lenses, e.g. K and M lenses
- High resolution has not highest priority, good noise level is very important!
- If possible without leaving out or worsening camera features and speed:
power supply like K100D with NiMH rechargeable batteries
- bracketing mode and 2 sec self timer usable in combination at the same
time

4) Lens wishes
(In addition to current lenses and lenses shown on the roadmap)
- DA 10 or DA 11 for ultra wide angle
- DA 17-135, maybe with persistent F4.0
- DA 2.8/135 Limited or DA 3.5/135 Limited
- DA or D FA zoom lens with focal length of approximately 150-400 mm,
maybe as DA* or D FA*
- D FA 200 and D FA 300 (on roadmap) as D FA* with tripod clamp
- DA* 60-250 with tripod clamp
- DA 100, cheaper version without special macro functionality
- Macro lens as DA* or D FA* version (e.g. DA* 2.8/70 or DA* 2.8/150)    - New AF converter (cp. F 1.7x)
- All new lenses with supersonic motor drives shall be also usable with older Pentax DSLR models

5) Wishes for Optio models
- A successor to the Optio SV/SVi with improved speed rates, large display
and optical viewfinder
- Successor to Optio 750Z with ShakeReduction-System and swiveling
screen that produces high quality images and offers high build-quality    Exposure times up to at least 15 seconds (cp. Optio 330)
- More priority to low noise levels than to the highest resolution
- Continuation of Optio W series
